Group Classes
Puppy Pre-School
Wednesdays @ 7:00-8:00pm, November 4 - December 9 (no class November 18)
Saturdays @ 9:00-10:00am, November 7 - December 12 (no class November 21)
Early puppy training establishes good manners and habits right from the start. Early puppy training helps prevent barking, mouthiness, jumping, pulling, and aggression later in life. Early contact with many people, places, and other puppies allows your puppy to grow up confident and friendly.
This class includes the following:
- Manners & Impulse Control - Teach your pup to sit rather than jump, pay attention, wait, walk nicely on leash and leave food and other items that are off limits.
- Bite Inhibition - Keep your hands and sleeves safe, and lay the foundation for a gentle mouth throughout your pups socialization. Shape your puppy into a well-mannered puppy who likes children & strangers.
- Handling - Teach your pup to enjoy being touched for easy nail clippings, vet exams, grooming, etc.
- House Training - Get the A to Z on potty training, complete with a schedule and helpful tips.
- Flexibility - We’re working on and off leash.
- Fun, and more Fun!
Age Requirement:
Pups must be between 10 weeks- 5 months at start of class
Perfect Puppy
Wednesdays @ 8:00-9:00pm, November 4 - December 9 (no class on November 18)
For a teenage dog, the world is full of temptation and distraction: Chicken bones on the street, other dogs, Pizza on the coffee table. Too much fun to come when called. In this class, we continue your dogs education and socialization into becoming easygoing, well mannered pups who listen to their parents.
This class includes the following:
- Impulse control - Learn about distance, distractions, and duration-the basis for advanced doggie education.
- Manners - Build on your pup’s existing skills. Take sit, down, watch me, and loose leash walking to the next level.
- New learning - It’s time to add the tougher stuff. “ Go settle”, longer sit & down stays and more.
- Rocket recall - Want a dog that boomerangs back to you at the dog park? This is the way.
- Flexibility - We’re working on off leash heel.
- Fun - Always!
Prerequisites:
Puppy Kindergarten or the equivalent. Pups must be 5-10 months at start of class.

Good Manners 1 (Beginner Obedience)
Wednesdays @ 6:00-7:00pm, November 4 - December 9 (no class on November 18)
Saturdays @ 11:00am-12:00pm, November 7 - December 12 (no class on November 21)
Your dog's next step towards becoming a Good Manners dog that all your family and friends will envy. We practice exquisite manners.
This class includes the following:
- Generalization - Learn how to take distance, distraction, and duration into the world.
- Recall when it counts - Test your dog's recall at the dog park and be amazed at the results.
- Loose- Leash in a crowd - Stroll through a busy shopping district with a well-mannered pooch at your side.
- Leave it - Always. Cement your dog’s resistance to temptation.
- Café-quality stay - Practicing long down stays with distractions that earns you a dog you can take anywhere.
- Heel - Off-leash
- Fun - Always!
Age Requirement:
Dogs must be 1 year or older.
Canine Connection
Wednesdays @ 6:00pm, November 4 - November 25
This class includes the following:
- Learn how to increase your dog's attentions and focus on you!
- Build a better relationship between you and your dog
- Teach your dog fun tricks
- Play games
- Make leash walking more fun and productive
- Build a good foundation for obedience, agility and therapy dog training
- Take the "serious" out of dog training with a more relaxed approach
Agility
Agility training is fun mental and physical stimulation for you and your dog! Your dog will gain confidence as you build your relationship with positive reinforcement instruction. Instructor Julie O’Konski holds 23 agility titles and passes on her 10 years of experince.

Beginner Agility
Tuesdays @ 6:00pm November 3 - December 8
Saturdays @ 9:00am November 7 - December 12
This class will teach handler and dog alike the basic working knowledge and foundation so dogs will perform with ease and confidence.
This class includes the following:
- Preparing your dog physically and mentally
- Effectively communicate with one another to move together as a team
- Fun advanced heeling exercises and flat work
Equipment that will be used in this class:
Tire, Open tunnel, Collapsed tunnel, Jumps, A-frame, Wobble plank (intro to the teeter totter), Pause table, Slightly raised planks (intro to the dog walk)
Prerequisites:
Basic level obedience (or permission from instructor), the ability for handler to keep dog focused.
Intermediate Agility
Saturdays @ 10:00am November 7 - December 12
This class will teach handler and dog alike the basic working knowledge and foundation so dogs will perform with ease and confidence.
This class includes the following:
- Perfecting performance on agility obstacles familiarized in Agility 101
- Weave pole training; two different methods up to six poles
- Familiarizing the teeter totter and the dog walk at full height
- Maneuvering dogs successfully around obstacle sequences and agility courses
Prerequisites:
Successful completion of Beginners Agility - must be proficient on all obstacles covered in Beginners Agility (no weaves)
Advanced Level Agility
Wednesdays @ 7:00pm November 4 - December 9
Fun is first and foremost! This class moves up for those ready for the competition level agility course while obstacle discrimination and distance handling are perfected. Instruction will tailor to your level and the course will be set at specific skill levels.
Each week a competition-level agility course or sequence of obstacles will be set and with the instructor's help, each student will analyze the course and choose a strategy to maneuver around the course successfully with their dogs.
This class includes the following:
- Front and back crosses
- Serpentines
- Threadles
- Obstacle discrimination
- Distance handling
Prerequisites:
Successful completion of Beginners and Intermediate level agility classes.
Private Agility Lessons
Private lessons will also be available for those who are interested in higher level training or for dogs that may have issues that would prohibit them from being in a group class environment (aggression or fear factors etc.)
A few requirements for agility training:
Dogs must be at least 12 months of age. Females in season are not permitted in class. Flat-buckle collars and 6-foot leashes only. No flexi-leads, prong, choke, shock or head collars are permitted. Body harnesses must be removed prior to performing on any piece of agility equipment.
Board & Train
Wouldn’t everyone like to return from vacation and find their pet free from the same bad habits? Our philosophy on training while boarding is to create a nurturing environment that will reassure your pup while breaking bad habits and instilling desired behavior patterns.
Please contact us so we can put you in touch with one of our trainers. The trainer needs to speak with you to determine what training concerns you have and your preferred frequency. Then, drop off on the scheduled day and leave the work to us!
Your dog will have two 15-to-30 minute sessions per day targeting your training concerns. At the time of departure, our trainer will provide you with the insight and instruction for you to reinforce the new behavior patterns on your own.
Camp & Train
With our in-house trainers, Day Camp can be both fun and instructional for your dog. Whether setting foundations for a well- mannered pet or targeting specific behavioral concerns, our trainers will devote tailored, one-on-one attention working with your dog. Your dog will have two 15-to-30 minute sessions per day targeted at your training concerns. At the time of departure, our trainer will provide you with the insight and instruction for you to reinforce the new behavior patterns on your own.

Walk the Dog
Saturdays @ 11:00am, November 7 - November 28
- A one-session course designed to make walking the dog less of a chore.
- Attend only one course if you wish - or attend the entire series.
- Free Stay n' Play immediately afterwards!
